pcmag.com posted this article with links and commentary for the best 100 undiscovered web sites.  They approached the top 100 list as “undiscovered”  which is kind of silly because most site have traffic and a following, if they are decent sites.  This was posted in 2008.

They also did a list a year earlier in 2007 for Top 100 Classic sites. These are great but dated.  

Where are the updated lists for Web surfers these days?  Maybe an opportunity… Here is XOM reviews list of the top 500 by traffic but not sure when this gets updated and technically how. http://www.xomreviews.com/top100.asp
